这是部非传统式的纪录片，将一位老人的日常生活展现在一年四季当中。当年离开北京时，除了一些旧衣服，老人只带走一些照片和自己工作多年获得的奖状，对于习惯了城市生活的老人来说，在退休后选择来到这个陌生的村庄，还是源于当年他和老伴的一个约定。老俩口为了安享晚年，早就计划好退休后离开北京，找一处风光秀美的山村过清静的田园生活。然而世事难料，刚刚退休不到一个月，老伴就因为心梗去世，突如其来的变故，让老人有些措手不及，处理完老伴的后事，带着她的遗愿找到这里，久留下来。。为了从叔叔手里夺回属于自己的一切，她接近叔叔最大的客户盛筠，本以为可以得到自己想要的结局，可不曾想他也是步步为营，将自己算计在手中。两个人困在爱中，却又害怕向对方展露自己的真心，万一走错一步，可能就无法回头....。London 1864.
