FOX续订《辛普森一家》第35、36季。。少女吉川薰（野波麻帆 饰）与哥哥刚（松岡俊介 饰）亲密无间，有如恋人一般。某天，吉川刚神秘失踪，薰在公寓内找到一封来自高中同学宫守泉（柴咲コウ 饰）写给哥哥的情书。泉当初暗恋刚，却因薰的关系而受挫败。种种迹象表明，吉川刚很可能前往了泉的家乡——不来彼方村。这个有着怪异名字的村子流传着同样怪异的风俗，人们相信死者的灵魂会附在稻草人上，所以村民将稻草人插在亲人的墓前，久而久之，稻草人的脸就会逐渐转化为死者的脸。 为寻找哥哥，薰最终来到这个古怪的村子，等待她的是…… 本片根据日本漫画家伊藤润二同名恐怖漫画改编。。A certain pirate of the Spanish Main makes a practice of blowing up with all hands the ships he has looted.
