美裔犹太女子马尔西接替生病的父亲管理一个唱片公司，但是公司旗下的头号歌手S博士却因为演唱粗俗歌曲，而在社会上引发了一场轩然大波，刚刚接手公司的马尔西现在的头号问题就是：搞定旗下这名声名狼藉的歌手……。故事講述2060年「時限法」全面生效之後，任何行為包括談戀愛都有時限，時限到必須分手。從配對成功的一刻開始，阿嵐（ Lam yiu sing 林耀聲飾）和子晴（ Hedwig Tam 談善言飾）的關係正式開始倒數。但是阿嵐並不知道，在這段愛情背後隱藏着子晴和偉（ 陳子豐 Colin Chan 飾）很多不為人知的秘密與過去，將他捲入一個又一個危險的旋渦，迫使阿嵐作出終極反擊，但代價可能是失去一切。。Plebs is described as "a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting."
