本剧以主妇こだま的自传改编，描述发现丈夫・研一（中村苍）的性器插不进来，仍持续与对方交往并结婚的女性渡边（山本）久美子（石桥菜津美）为主角的故事。。两个高中女生对拍摄短片兴趣十足，组成了学校里的影视部，结识了形形色色想拍片的同学，为他们拍摄个人和社团的短片。可是两位女主角的技术非常有限，拍摄的短片往往差强人意，拍摄过程也笑料百出，造成了学校里外欢乐的生活......。Based on a 1924 mystery novel by Agatha Christie, The Man in the Brown Suit was the eighth of Warner Bros.
