「瓜を破る」の主人公は、30歳を超えて未だ性体験がないことをコンプレックスとしている会社員女性・まい子。ほかの人々が普通のことのようにしている体験を自分だけができていない現実に焦るまい子は、仕事中もプライベートの時間も、そのことが頭から離れなくなってしまう。そんな彼女が、コピー機のメンテナンス会社で働く男性・鍵谷と出会ったことから物語は動き出す。。Charlie and Nicola Buchanan (Shaun Micallef and Kat Stewart) are crime scene cleaners. As they go about their work, they collect evidence and clues the police may have missed. Every now and then, theyget carried away with helping solve the mysteries the police have trouble closing。The story is set in the 1930s, somewhere in the mountains in Romania. It centres on Simion, a ranger who lives like a hermit in the middle of the forest. One day, he stumbles upon a beaten-up woman, Irina, and tries to find out who has hurt her. He also tries to stay away from her but fails.。
