本作品以日本的美丽风景为舞台，讲述了丈夫驾驶妻子的爱车追寻心灵旅程的故事。因事故失去妻子美奈子(尾野真千子饰)的莲见希久夫(泷藤贤一饰)，知道了她的爱车“grace”上只留下了远离日常生活的地方的履历。希久夫怀疑妻子不贞，为了解开谜团踏上了旅程。他每到一个地方就会挖掘自己尘封的过去，也会触及美奈子的想法。。当她的儿子找到新朋友时，最近的寡妇感到高兴。 但是很快就很清楚，他正在追求另一种陪伴。 他们的吸引力会成为她的毁灭吗？ 而隐藏的秘密是什么？。A young woman (Rosemary Wilcox) is haunted by pop-Freudian dreams of her recently murdered psychologist (and lover), so for some reason she goes to a resort where the psychologist liked to hang out and becomes involved with a gangster (Adolf Celli) and the strange female resort owner (Alida Valli). Soon more murders occur involving the other guests at the resort.。
