《探长薇拉》改编自著名罪案小说家Ann Cleeves的小说，由Paul Rutman改编成剧本。布兰达·布莱斯饰演探长薇拉(Vera)，和《神探维兰德》中的Wallander一样，她也有各种属于自己的问题，死去父亲的阴影、孤独、体重影响的疾病……但案子总是排在第一位的。在年轻帅气的警探Joe Ashworth(大卫·莱昂饰演)的协助下，两人共同破了许多案件，帮助了许多受害者的家人伸张正义。。2016年10月～12月に放送されたTVアニメ『ドリフターズ』。その新作エピソードとなる第13話・第14話を収録したBlu-rayが、2017年12月23日（土）に発売されることが決まった。AbemaTVでは振り返りダイジェスト＋第13話＋αを配信。新キャラクターとなるバンゼルマシン シャイロック8世を前野智昭さんが演じることも発表された。。The epic adventures of the legendary Baran the Bandit following his release from prison. After serving 35 years, it is no surprise that the world has changed dramatically. Still, Baran can't help but be shocked to discover that his home village is now underwater thanks to the construction of a new dam. He then heads for Istanbul to get revenge upon his former best friend, the man who snitched on him and stole his lover Keje. Along the way, Baran teams up with Cumali, a tough young punk who finds the thief's old-fashioned ways rather quaint.
