故事讲述宋仁宗嘉佑年间，汴京狄家护国有功，获朝廷御赐盐米铁专运权。狄家仅于男丁狄青，生性不羁。虽无意争名逐利，但为了要安慰母亲，进入内廷当一个挂名小官，揭发庞氏父子将官盐调包舞弊，遂与庞家结下不解之仇。庞雄欲谋帝位，私通西辽，欲借西辽兵力篡位，铲除狄青。狄青数次遇险，幸福星高照，化险为夷，更赢得美人归。武将狄青保疆卫国，威震西羌。窥视中原的河西王与上乘国王海飞云定下计策，假意与宋朝修好，串通宋朝太师庞洪，撺掇宋皇派狄青出使西羌修订盟约，以图除掉狄青。 与狄青有杀夫之仇的海飞云狠不得杀死狄青以报夫仇，狄青一入西羌便身陷险厄。幸亏秉遵道义的鄯善国王及八宝公主救助，狄青才得脱险，并在鄯善国招亲，与八宝整军图强，以待结盟时机。河西王又施美人计，以假烈火旗为证，与宋朝结盟，同时又暗中使庞洪诬陷狄青在西羌叛国招亲，欲反借宋朝之刀杀狄青。。A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A courageous policeman, a photo journalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, who seems to know a lot about the creatures, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.。Her daughter died from chain-smoking and she blamed herself too much that her brain coped with the tragedy by erasing her daughter's death from her memories.。
