英都大学的副教授火村英生（斋藤工 饰）专事犯罪心理学的研究，除此之外他还利用自己的学识帮助警方调查各种匪夷所思的杀人案件。在他身边的是致力于成为推理小说作家的有栖川有栖（窪田正孝 饰），有栖川协助火村打理委托的具体事宜，同时对火村的内心状态予以了极大的关注。火村似乎一直在追求完美的犯罪，甚至在自己的梦境中，他也会把自己设想为犯罪凶手。在追查一起起案件的过程中，新兴宗教香格里拉十字军的身影时隐时现。扑朔迷离的案情，带领人们走入人性的黑暗面…… 本片根据有栖川有栖的推理系列“作家爱丽丝系列”改编。。Someone downloads an app on your phone behind your back.
