一场在恒春夏都沙滩酒店沙滩上举办的大型演唱会，由于当地人的坚持，暖场乐团将由在地的乐手们组团演出，于是代班邮差阿嘉、小米酒业务员马拉桑、机车行鼓手水蛙、原住民警察劳马、老邮差茂伯、正读国小大大七拼八凑组成了一个“破铜烂铁”的乐团，让心情烦闷的演唱会日本籍监督友子小姐伤透脑筋，其中总是不肯好好配合练团的主唱阿嘉更是无时无刻不惹毛她。随着演出时间愈来愈近，两人的冲突也愈演愈烈，没想到一份装在写着日据时代旧址“恒春郡海角七号番地”邮包里的过期爱情，竟在半世纪后，悄悄牵起了另一段跨国之恋。。Marie and Michelle are escaping from a lunatic asylum.
