平稳的日子――其实暗藏着秘密防范犯罪的秘密组织――“DA（Direct Attack）”。作为特工的少女们“LYCORIS”。有着历代最强的LYCORIS之称的・锦木千束、优秀的LYCORIS・井之上泷奈，在咖啡厅“LycoReco”支部工作。这里接受的订单从订购咖啡和甜点，到照顾小孩、代购、面向外国人的日语老师等请放心交给“LycoReco”自由自在的乐天派、和平主义的千束与沉着冷静系、效率主义的泷奈二人跌宕起伏的混乱日常正式上演！。一个希腊后裔的德国人Zinos（亚当·布斯多柯斯 Adam Bousdoukos 饰）在汉堡开了间餐厅，名字叫“Soul Kitchen”，最近遭遇了严重的财政危机，入不敷出，难以为继。祸不单行，Zinos还因为一次意外而腰椎间盘突出。而他的情感生活也有麻烦，他的女友Nadine（菲琳·罗根 Pheline Roggan 饰）是一名记者，决定到上海工作。他的弟弟Illias（莫里兹·布雷多 Moritz Bleibtreu 饰）刚从监狱里假释出来，来到Zino的餐厅打工。因为身体问题，Zino只能雇了另外一个厨师Shayn（波热尔·尤内尔 Birol Ünel 饰），但是Shayn做出的新菜，却没有受到老顾客们的欢迎，餐厅的收入每况愈下。而Zinos的女友也决定抛弃他，和一个在上海萍水相逢的人在一起。问题多多的Zinos该如何咸鱼翻生？Soul Ki...。Steve and Susan Ireland are about to celebrate their 4th wedding anniversary by re-enacting their first date.
