该剧讲述验尸的怪才法医和调查加害者的新检察官之间非常特别的合作的故事 。。来自诺丁汉的男孩托莫（Thomas Turgoose 饰）只身来到英国伦敦，却遭到抢劫。无家可归的托莫偶然结识年纪相仿热爱照相的波兰移民马尔克（Piotr Jagiello 饰），他总算找到暂时的落脚之处。马尔克的爸爸白天工作，这段时间两个好朋友四处游荡，或帮助托莫偷衣服，或者与马尔克心仪的咖啡馆女郎玛丽亚（Ireneusz Czop 饰）聊天玩笑，或从好心的杂货店老板格莱姆（Perry Benson 饰）那里赚点小钱。生活无聊，却又无忧无虑。当然这一切马尔克的父亲全不知情，直到他某天他回家撞见两个朋友打闹的场面…… 本片荣获2009年伦敦影评人奖英国年度最佳青年演员奖（Thomas Turgoose）。。He works at the fairground as “Stump the Guesser”, who can guess anything for a fee.
