A British band are ordered by their unhappy record c...。一名英国女子的秘密和充满暴力的过去因为超市里一群持枪劫匪而暴露，她在巴塞罗那的宁静生活也随之失控。故事发生在军阀割据的二十世纪二十年代。为了破获首富郭老爷家丢失的古籍《二十四孝》的案子，江南某县城警察局警探陈九斤联合郭家大公子郭盖、线人万小宝等人，抽丝剥茧，循着《二十四孝》的线索，寻找到当年受嘉奖的二十四位孝子后人，积齐二十四块孝子牌后，终于找到了郭居敬等人所藏、用于弘扬中华孝道之宝藏。故事以寻宝人的亲情、爱情为主线，穿插《二十四孝》原文故事，配合二十四位孝子后人的人生际遇来警示世人，阐释了孝乃立人之本这个道理。。
